Longhorn update

A couple of you are actually interested in this engine swap, and a few of you are responsable for it. (at least my wife blames you guys for it anyways)
I FINALLY got the Ponticrap out of there, and it was pretty interesting. I always thought the engine looked a little off center in the frame rails, and it was. They had installed 1/2 inch spacers inbetween the motor mounts and engine block on the drivers side. I guess that is one to put i the back of my head for the caddy engine if it becomes an issue.

Here it is magicly rising from the framerails. Yeah, it's one of those rent-a-hoist units. Pretty cool to use, but a PITA to back up with.(and I towed trailers for 7 years in the army...these are just real short trailers). You can see my 'gentle persuassion bar'.
