Carrier Bearing..........Anyone have part #?
It didn't take the Cummins long to eat the Carrier Bearing in my '71 C-20...........Anyhow, Does anyone have the Advance Auto part # for the one with the two mounting holes that run front to back...........? I was looking around on their web site and they had 7 bearings listed for it and I haven't a clue which one it should take.
I assume you have to purchase the the bearing and the housing? I'd really like to know what I need before I stop by there tomorrow.........If it is made before 1990 the kids seem to have problems finding the right part on the first try P.S, I thought they only put two types of Carrier bearings in them? One like I need, and ones with the mounting holes running width wise across the truck? How do they get 7 different bearings with the same ID and manufacturer?
