HELP!! 1980 K10 Electrical Gremlin's - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

So, Got the cell phone plugged in to the cigarette lighter. "I'm Switched over to the passenger side tank. And the CD's playing fine. Next second and, stereo's kaput, charger for phone is dead and I've run outa gas on the driver side tank. Replaced the 25amp fuse at the fuse box and lasted about three weeks. Replaced it again, and, with all the accoutrements off, POOF! Melted the fused, didn't just blow it. Took a pair of vise grips to remove it. Blew another just as a test.

Anyone know where this short might be?? I can't find anything.
