Any of your people that live south of a line drawn west to east through Chicago, Il. have NO IDEA.....NONE...NADA...NILL ...
about rust!!!!   That frame is good, it looks like it was undercoated and the undrcoating is flaking off....You want to see rust...I can show you rust if you want.... Kid....KEEP THE TRUCK... You know it's history and it is PAID FOR!! Get a winter beater/driver and fix the truck up. If it sits for a month or a year IT DOESN"T COST ANYTHING! They don't make them anymore Just my .02  CCDually
