Sloppy steering.

I just purchased an 82 Blazer and much like the one I had years ago the steering is EXTREMELY sloppy. I would use the search function but.....um....errr there isn't one. And there a hell of a lot of pages out there.

I've been wrenching on a Toyota Supra Turbo for 4 yrs and it is a different beast altogether. I'm just not famliar with all of the things that are suspect.

What am I going to have to replace/install to tighten it up?(That I won't have to immediately replace when I throw on a 6" lift<separate issue>
It is stock ride height on 30's.
I have a list of things to do to it but this is the most important as careening wildly through traffic, inches from others, is not my idea of fun.
Next is replacing the window motors all around.
It's good to be working on a domestic again. Nothing like crawling INTO the engine bay to do your work.
Thanks in advance.
