Cab issues Repair or Replace - 72 Cab FS FL/GA??
I had a highly recommended body guy come over and take a look at my cab. He said it's repairable but I'd be looking at aleast 50-60 hours of labor and can't guarantee that it'll stop there. There's quiet a bit of bondo up both rear cab sidewalls, the cab corners and rocker panels need to replaced as well as approx 3 inches of flooring on each side. The roof top is pretty rusty, though we won't know how rusty until the sanding starts. Both doors are rusted out bad enough that it'd be easier to replace than to repair. I mentioned just replacing the cab, and he said in all honesty that's prob the route he'd take. He even offered to help me set the cab off the truck at his shop an teach me to do some of the work, but he said the work it needs is beyound beginner work.
On that note: Anyone have a 72 AC cab in FL or GA for sale? Cheers, Jim
