Clicking from a front wheel...??

1984 1500 classic GMC PU... Sometimes front driver wheel sounds like a beerbottlecap is stuck to tire after 60km... Have wheel off, but can't find why the clicking... Any ideas out there?

AND, If I changed the 4-brl carb on 305, to a 2-brl, what would it do for gas millage? I don't need the V8 power, and I pretty much stay at 75 to 80Km on the highways... I drive slow safe and easy... [It used to be 0 or 80mph, till I slowed down, to discover that there are trees, buildings, and people in that green-blurr... and there's less chances of killing innocent critters on the road this way..]
What other vehicles carry those 2-brl carbs that look like a 4-brl?...
