Question fuel pump problem?

well today on the way home the truck did a curious thing. I was going something like 30 mph and the engine starts stumbling like it is running out of fuel and dies I throw it in neutral and it cranks right back up. I stop and put 10 gallons in thinking maybe the fuel guage doesn't work.....nope still does the same scenario...as long as it's idling or under very little accelration it runs but a little rough.

Do you think the pump diaphram has stretched out and is not putting out enough pressure to run just idle? I checked the oil and there's no gas smell to it and the pump is not leaking externally.

This is more of the post sitting not driving break in woes this truck is going through. I have probably driven it more in the last week than it was driven for three years I bet.

I drove it 7 or 8 miles doing this... and it ran fine this morning on the way to work...could it be bad gas is finally getting to it? I would've thought I had burned it all by now.

any ideas?
