New Glass!

I finally broke down after 7 years and put a new windshield in my 63! I was a little reluctant spending the money on something that gets 9 mpg with today's gas prices, but I think it was well worth it! I no longer have to stick my head out the window when driving into the sun because of all the cracks and sandblast. It took three guys and 2 hours for them to get the new one in. The shop owner told me he hadn't done one in 20 years, and hoped it was another 20 years before he did it again. He had me worried for while cuz he didn't think he'd be able to get it in with the stainless trim, but he did it. I was most impressed with the fact they got the old one out in one piece!
