electric cooling fan question
ok guys,i know there has been a lot of discussion about these,i have 2 12" cooling fans mounted on a shroud,i also have a thermostat switch that autimatically turns them on when the water in the radiator reaches 180 degrees, and then they shut off when the water in the radiator reaches below 180 degrees, which is not for several minutes after the truck is off, now,my question is,is it better this way,or to just wire them in so they turn on when the truck is started and they shut off when ui turn off the truck,or is it better the way i have them now,im just curious,i have a lot invested in my truck, and this is my first time w/ electric fans,i just didn't notice alot of movement in my temperature guage when i took it for its first road trip to get the bed done, any and all help will be much appreciated.thanx...mike
