cross member drop with stock steering linkage?

Hey guys,

Sorry I keep asking so many questions about it, but I started diggin in on the truck yesturday and while I was looking around under the hood I was eye balling a few things. It looks like I am going to have to notch the bottom of the frame to make room for the drah link? Is this correct? I did not actually measure anything but just from lookin it looks like there is a lot less then an 1.5 inches between the drag link and the bottom of the frame. I know a lot of people swap over to R&P, but sinse I really dont know much about it I planned on sticking with the stock(well later model 73-87 stock) steering linkage.
