Hello again...couple of questions

Well I've had one busy summer and haven't been on this site for a while now. Its good to browse around again and it looks like I have alot of good topics I need to read.

When I was here last I was having troubles with my carb, well now its gone totally belly up. I'm almost positive the base is warped. I'm over that problem riddled quadrajet and I'm about ready to purchase a brand new carb for my truck. I do have a couple questions just to make sure I do everything 100% correct the first time so I don't have to run into trouble down the road.

First off I'd like to buy a Holley Street Avenger 670CFM carb. One thing I noticed on Summits website is when you click on the, "Check to make sure this part fits your application" I noticed it said the carb is not emissions legal??..I don't understand that because I thought several people on this board had that carb on their trucks. Whats emissions legal even mean?

Next question is I read that the carbs are jetted for sea level and that every 2000 ft. you go up you should go up one size jet. I do most of my driving at 4,000-4,500 ft. So I'm assuming I would need to go up at least 2 to 3 jets sizes. My question is what jet size are they at now??...I can't seem to find that info.

Also, What will I need to buy to make the kickdown switch for my TH350 trans work on the new carb?

My last question is that carb has dual fuel feeds so I'm guessing I would need a piece of pipe or hose that split into two lines right up by the carb..any recommendations? I would also like to run a braided fuel line(if this is feasible)up from the fuel pump to the split fuel line piece up by the carb. How much would this cost me and is it worth it? I'm looking for something flexible if at all possible.

Sorry for all the questions but I'm really trying to get this all figured out pretty quick as my Fall semester up at the college is quickly approaching. I'd like to get this finished before I start at the end of the month as I know things will start getting very busy for me.

I'm gonna try and call Summit tomorrow and get some questions answered but I want all the info I can get.

Any help would be awesome!

Thanks a bunch,

Kevin

P.S. Links to parts or info would help alot as well.

P.P.S. Somehow the vacuum pipe from my brake boost that attached to the back of my carb got bent real bad so now the brakes are real hard to use...any pre-bent pipe I can buy or possibly a braided flexible line of some sort. Thats gonna have to be fixed for sure.
