hedman headers hitting frame

talked to hedman via email and summit on the phone and they both suggested part number 69096 for ceramic coated headers for my 72 suburban 2wd TH350 with ZZ4 motor.

hedman makes a d-port header I have since found, but they sent me these? the gasket cut off about 20% of the flow.

the header hit the frame on the passenger side, and only a fraction of an inch on the drivers.

the bracket they sold me to fit the factory long pump style A/C doesn't fit.

the header sticks down so low below the frame that if anything hits a bump, the headers are going first! which I guess also means the aluminum heads.

anybody else have any luck. or any suggestions with these headers or recommend somthing else?

I was really dissapointed after spending ALL day trying to get this motor in. was really hoping to fire it up tonight!!!
