How to drop my 70 c10 ?

I'm new to this site, great information, haven't been able to find spucifically what I need to drop my 70 c10, I want to do a 3-7 drop, would I have to do a c-notch, is c-notching a big deal, some people say you shouldn't cut into the frame. I don't know to go with airbags or not, I'm a little concerned with the ride quality,this is going to be my daily driver. any info greatly appreciated.
