Parts Cleaning and Cleaning Solution

I have been using a very strong driveway cleaner to clean parts though it is too strong for me to use without gloves. It will eat teh skin from my hands. I normally use the oil changing pan but my good buddy Rich got me a deeper plastic tray the other day and I think it will be much better.

* what solution do you clean parts with?
* what container do you use to clean parts?

I need a solution I can soak parts in and a container that will withstand the solution.
