My current project began as cleaning the radiator and installing a 700R4...then it turned into headgaskets...which turned into minor valvework....

At least, that's what we thought. I took the cylinder heads in to get cleaned up...it turns out, most of the valves are badly recessed, so it needs new valves and seats and guides and...$450 of work on original 1970 truck heads.

So...my dad bought me the Scoggin-Dickey Vortec kit.

More horsepower...finally...more horsepower
