newbie questions

First, I know little about cars and trucks other than I *love* 71 and 72 Chevy pickups. I just bought a 72 and I have some basic questions. Let me also say that I would have preferred a 71 for sentimental reasons (dad had one) and that I am not worried about restoring it to perfection.

1. I keep reading that the aftermarket door panels for the 72's do not fit right. Will door panels for a 71 fit my doors? Please cut me slack here... at least I'm not cutting my dash.

2. My truck is brown and has a white cab. Is the white cab a 72 thing or did other years have the white cab as well?

3. I want to paint my truck blue. Does anyone know the name of the factory blue for these trucks?

Thanks in advance for any responses. I have been reading more than I have been posting and this board has the friendliest community I think I have ever seen. I like the spirit here. Just happy to see this place is more about helping each other than flaming each other (semi-)anonymously.
