72 frame fit a 66 long fleet?

Hi Everyone,
I have owned a 66 long bed fleet 3/4 ton for a few years now. Swapped in a 355 and a 5 speed, done some body work and have some big plans. After reading through this forum I have a question that I havent seen yet. My question is... Will my cab and bed mount onto a 72 GMC 'burban frame? A friend of mine has one with a body that has seen MUCH better days, basically shot. I started thinking about how nice it would be to have a 5 lug (for more wheel choices), discs up front and lower it. I am not looking to "bag it" but would like a little lower altitude and smoother ride quality. If my cab and bed will mount up rather easily it seems like a logical choice and I will soon be parting out a 72 GMC 'burban. Anyone have insite on this swap. Any and all help will be greatly appriciated. Thanks for your time. Dave
