New here, with questions

[68 ReNay]

Hi everyone!
First off, ReNay is my truck's name; i'm a dude, ha! anyway, i've got a 68 fleetside longbed. it's got a 307, but it's not original. best guess so far with the block numbers is a 73 camaro or nova. if someone could tell for sure, i'll post the numbers (build date, casting number and casting date). it's a half ton hydromatic as well.

but onto my questions
1. does anyone know where i can find a protect-o-plate decoder for my truck online? i've got the original owners manual and the booklet that has the plate in the back. i would like to know what options it originally came with (mainly motor). all i know is it was a v-8 from the VIN. i have no sticker on the inside glovebox.

2. my right turnsignal dash light randomly/intermittently flickers when i'm driving. it seems obvious is a loose connection or something somewhere. any ideas where to start.

i just love my truck. i had a 72 fleetside a couple years ago and sold it, cause i'm an idiot. i'm so glad to be back in the 'family'. plus, i personally like the looks of the 67-68 better. and i've still got PS/PB. i've just got drums all the way around. but i'd like to convert those some day.
