Wiring Woes

I rewired my truck with an M&H harness. It all went together well, but a few things aren't right; or maybe it's all different aspects of the same thing.

The wipers don't work, there is current at the yellow wire on the top of the wiper motor, but nothing at the lower yellow wire with the ignition on and the wiper switch on.

The interior light doesn't work, there is always current in the tan wire with the ignition on or off and the light switch on or off. There is never current in the white wire.

when I turn the ignition on, before I crank the starter, the lights on the dash don't come on for the brake or the temp.

The battery shows 11.5 volts between the terminals before I start the engine, but this only goes up to about 12.5 when the motor is running. I took the alternator to Autozone and they said it was ok, but the help tech at M&H said that the voltage reg must be bad (It is internally regulated and I got the harness for that, but had to lengthen the wires because the alternator is on the right of the engine)

Any thoughts would be welcome.
