New 60 - 66 member

Hey guys! I'm new at this, but have been an avid fan of the 60 - 66 Chevy C10's forever. I just bought a 65', my first, and I'm totally stoked about it. I have some questions for the experts on the board, first I want to take off the ugly 30.5's that are on it now and drop a little height and add some muscle look with some wider and lower meats. I'm considering BF 295/50R15's for the back, that would drop me almost 2'' in the back, but in the front I was think about 275/50R15's. This would give me a little rake to the front, droping the front over 2''. Does anyone think the fronts would be too wide? Front and back rims are both 9".

Also, I'm wanting to to spruce up the rims. I don't have enough $$$ for high dollar rims, I thought I would pretty up the rally's on it. I have the same rallys as in the picture I'm attaching here, but I can't find the center caps the same as in the pic. I can only find them with 4X4 on them in the 6 lugs. Any idea's?

Thanks in advance and happy to be joining....

Ron.
