Alternator swao questions

Hi
I am new to this group. I have a 1970 C10, 6 cylinder, stepside. Fully restored and is a beauty. 100% stock truck. It's my first old truck after 30 years of admiring others. I got it a month ago.

I am really excited to have found you all. Your site looks like a great resource for help.

I am replacing my alternator with a delco remy 10SI type with a built in voltage regulator. Two questions...

The lower mounting hole is a larger diameter than the original alternator. Do I need a larger bolt and therefore different lower bracket to accept the larget bolt, or do I find a bushing to make up the slack?

Also, the pully is closer to the body on the new alternator. Can I swap pulleys? Or do I move the body of the new alternator forward, in which case I need to change the bend of the top arm slightly.

Hope someone can help me.

thanks
Mark
