djtlaz Registered User Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Tempe,AZ Posts: 38	Engine Id Does anyone know how to determine exactly what engine I would have in my truck without being able to see the ID on the back of the block? I bought a 1971 chevy shorty 4x4, and it has a new engine in it but I can't determine what generation 350 it is. I was told it was for a 1995 Chevy from the previous owner. But I believe he didn't know much about much. Any suggestions would be a great help to me.
