questions about removing burb body..bisquick65 maybe you can answer?
I am looking at purchasing an 88 burb body to replace the one on my 89 burb. My 89 is a 4wd and the 88 is a 2wd.
So my questions are.... Is there any major differences in the 2wd and 4wd? (aside from the hole in the floor for the shifter) Also what needs to be removed from the body in order to lift it off? I know the steering column, a/c, body mounts, and electrical harness. Is there anything else I need to be aware of? All the brake lines, and fuel lines stay with the frame. Correct? I was thinking about trying this in a weekend. Or am I nuts? Any input will help...I've taken regular cabs off before..but this is the first time with something this big! I'm hoping my work will let me do it here and I can use the overhead crane!!
