71, whats this worth? (Insurance)
This a friends truck (older gentlmen). He's getting it re- aprasied for insurance. The car lot he took it to gave it a value of $8,000-9,000. I dont know if that enough to replace this truck if some thing were to happen.
71 chevy longbox, second owner since 72 garged always. facotry air, PS, front disk brakes. This truck was repainted OE colors 9 years ago but it has had ZERO RUST EVER, ZERO BONDO it was sanded small dents were pushed out and it was painted. Unfortunatly he had the box Rhino lined at this time. The under carriage was coated when new and it still looks new. The modifications over the years are, a crate engine, HEI, power brake converion, cheezy chrome junk on the engine, the exh was changed out for duals. The original engine and all the parts to go back to factory are sitting in his garage along with the facotry wheels. The interior is perfect even the dash is factory with no cracks, the floormat is perfect even the seat is perfect. The only things that cant go back to original/OEM are the paint, the bed linner and he had speakers installed in the doors not much choice I guess with the tank behind the seat. My Camera doesnt do this justice.
