A little more progress......

Finally got the steering column back together and put back in the truck. What a pain in the arse! Took it all apart, sandblasted the"visible" parts and painted them turquoise to match the body/interior color. I'm very happy with the results..... just a little more difficult than I had imagined! I was unable to locate the lower bearing and bearing housing for the tilt column. Has anyone had luck finding those parts? Luckily my bearing was in good shape, but the housing was cracked (but usable).

Also shown is my gauge cluster. It's painted off-white with charcoal trim.
