Question URGENT! Work in progress, suggestions please?

Well, I'm trying to tackle replacing my center support bearing today, and I've run into a problem.

How do I deal with a stubborn U-Joint? I've got a larger socket on one side of the joint, and a smaller socket on the other side, trying to push the joint appart, but it's not budging!! YES, I did remove the clips! lol. I was thinking of drenching the joint in WD40 for now, and then seeing if it will move. I would grease it back up before using so, would this work?

The U-Joints on my truck are the ones with the clip at the 4 ends, so is there an alternative to removing this sucker? So far there has suprisingly been no problems, until now.

Also, the center support bearing failed because the bearing itself seized!! It was rock solid with rust, so of course the soft rubber tore apart, and then the metal support cracked off on one side.
