How sweet it is...

Well today I decided to at least take off the diff cover so I could say that I started work on the axle (I have a locker and new set of 3.73's on the shelf).



Looky what I found! After I saw this, I decided to check my options sticker which, although barely readable, was still there. If you look hard, the third option on the left shows the rear end. Looks like this thing was built as a farm truck for sure



I also checked the block number to confirm what it was (and it IS a 350, whew). I kept thinking about a buddy of mine that bought a Chevelle when we were kids - the guy told him it was a 350 but we found out later it was a 307!
