Question engine mount bracket

i have a set of brackets that have two sets of holes in it (this is the bracket that bolts in to the top of the frame and then down to the front crossmember)
i am bolting in a sbc do i use the top set of holes or the bottom set of holes? and also can someone tell me what the diffrent holes are for? (sbc to bbs or are they I6 to sbc/bbc) just wondering b/c i would love to put a bbc in it later on in life. please help if you can and if you have any of these brackets and can take pics to help identify these it would be greatly appreciated. thanks gmg
