Hi, I'm new to this board. I found ya'll while surfing for answers to some of my questions. My wife has wanted a 67-72 for a long time and we finally found one worth buying. It is a '70 GMC with a '68 Chevy front clip. It has 5bolt wheels, disc brakes and power steering. It's powered by a 4 bolt main 350 with a steel crank, speed pro dometop pistons, roller cam, gear drive, Performer RPM intake, a Holley carb, HEI ignition, hedders, and dual exhaust. It has a TH350 with a 2000 RPM stall which just took a dump I have installed a van tilt column with instruction from this site. And my wife and I have done some more fix-up type stuff to get it road worthy. My wife will be overhauling the trans with a new B&M master kit, and my supervision. She hopes to be driving it very soon. The truck is very straight and fairly rust free, we gave $2500 for it.
