78 power brakes on the 67??

So I have a new mastercylinder/booster, and port. valve from my 78
that I parted.
Buddy told me that I could make the 67 power brakes with these parts.
Which is easier than going to disc.
He says it will bolt right up? Might have to adj. the lenght of the rod going
to the pedal asm.

Has anybody done this? Would it work and can the drum brakes handle
the power assist???
