Question Covering Heater openings on Firewall

I have my non A/C cab at the body shop now. I was wondering what different people did for covering or filling the heater and blower holes. I think I am going to go with a Vintage or Classic Air setup eventually.

I think when they made Copperhead, they just made some panels that bolted up to where the heater core and blower used to be. I have also seen some firewalls that were filled/shaved.

I'm thinking if I do the bolt up deal, I can also put it back original should I ever be so inclined. What do you guys think? Anyone got pictures of a bolt on setup?

Thanks,
