Mounting tach behind das bezel - how? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

(this is a repeat from WLEE's dash bezel post - please ignore if you have already answered)

Just out of curiosity, HOW IN THE HELL do you mount the tach behind the dash bezel, without destroying the printed circuit board? When I ripped out my bezel, I was greeted with an old cranky looking printed circuit board that was covering the hole in the center. (where WLEE's tach is mounted) I didn't feel brave enough at the time to start cutting chunks out, so my tach still sits on top of the steering column.
