Re: What carburetor do you use?

Running a Edelbrock #1406 600 cfm carb on my tired old 350 with stock intake and a adaptor plate for the carb. 10mpg mostly in the city stop and go traffic short trips. I have leaned this carb way out from the base setting and the engine runs great but the mpg did not go up that much. One thing about the Edelbrock carb is it is shure easy to adjust and the jets and needles are cheap. I would like to replace the intake with a proper matching intake and recheck my mileage.
