HO52 unit questions
I saw in the parts section a 71 Eaton ho52 rear axle with posi and 4.10 gears....would like to upgrade my truck to this setup...currenty open and 4.56, my question is this, can I just pull the center section and swap with mine? (4wd, need to upgrade front axle gears as well....so I already know that)
Also, is this actually rare? Is it worth the 6 hour drive, or can I come across this at most decent scrap yards that deal with older vehicles? Thanks
