reinstalling lower door trim

Well I went thru one of those touchless car washes the other day when the weather was nice and I'll be damned if the fan that drys the vehicles off when you are leaving didn't blow a couple of lower pieces of trim on the passenger side of my truck . I got most of it back on but I am having a heck of a time getting my big hands behind the lower door hinge to remove the bolt that holds the piece that the trim attaches to. Is there a trick to removing this piece without removing the entire door or do I need a certain wrench to make it easier? Maybe I need to see if my better half can get her hands in there.
