Hello from Northern California!

Hello from Arbuckle, California (north of Sacramento)!

I come from a Chevy truck family, my dad has a 1934 1/2 ton and a 1956 big back window 1/2 ton.

I've got a 1970 short fleetside in my garage currently undergoing a load of TLC. I pulled the stock 6 cyl. and 3-speed, replacing them with a 350/350. Body work is well underway (including knocking out the last guys bondo). I recently added a set of rallys, have new 3" drop springs and shocks on the way from CPP. The truck has a stock tach., and I have a set of 67-68 CST buddy buckets waiting in the wings.

The seats are a story by themselves. I bought them from an old guy in my home town of Coulee Dam, Washington. He spent his life as a mechanic and stock piled parts for his 69 CST. When I met him he was having a garage sale, selling off all the crap he'd collected and was now too old to use. I bought the seats off him for $30! The drawback is he didn't have the buddy seat/console. Anybody have one that they could send me pictures and dimensions? I suspect I'll have to make my own, finding one probably isn't an option.

Now it's off to the fridge...
