2 bolt or 4 bolt

heys guys its been a while since ive been on here but my 69 . the guy came to get it and he started freaking out saying the motor is knocking. the valves tick a lil and need adjustment. it has solid lifters the guy just figured theyd be hydrolic. now i thought all of these motors in these trucks were solid lifters. but after i said that he was just like ohh ok then no problem then he listend again and said there was sum other noise um well invisible noise is more like it. but yeah yeah anyways my qwestion if its a 2 bolt or 4 its got the original 396
