What would you do? 3/4 vs 1 ton

I just completely rebuilt my 85 3/4 ton freash axels with 4.56s lockers/disc conversion. rebuilt 208 / rebuilt with best parts 700. 400 sbc just 100% rebuilt. nice clean truck, repainted chassie, lift shocks, steering everthing. with a paint job it's a show truck and the paint is not to bad now. About $7,000 spent on this thing in the last year.

Now I bought a 1 ton 84 GMC on a whim saw it has to have it
454/400/205 dana 60 4.10's truck has pw,pl,tilt,air,slider.
just needs rockers/corners minor stuff and a some paint.
Engine is strong as well as the rest of the driveline. do I just keep what I got or pull this 1 ton apart and build it??? Then I can say I got a 1 ton even though I will never carry that kind of weight......but it's a 1 ton you know AHHHHH!!!!!! I want everything !!! what to do ??? Why should I keep one over the other ?? Both is NOT an option sad to say.
