Disc Brake Question...

I am currently rebuilding a 1969 Chevy stepside. My truck is 2 wheel drive and I want to convert the front brakes from drums to discs. Today I found a 69 K5 blazer in a junkyard with the whole disc assembly. My question was will it fit even though the K5 is 4x4 and mine 2x4? Is there any other ways I can make it work? I'm from New York and its very hard to come across 67-72 chevy trucks in good shape. If anyone could help itd be greatly appreciated. Later...
