Fuel lines - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

All this talk of trucks almost burning down has me wanting to replace my fuel lines, primarily from the pump to carb. right now i have a metal line running up from the pump to the top of the valve cover then a section of rubber line to a glass filter

then to my 1405. all connected with hose clamps and i don't feel good about my setup at all. i thought about the edelbrock setup but damn they are proud of those. what do you guys do?
