Sluggish and clanging
I was examining the carburetor to check the choke, its not activating, and pulled some of the triggers and switches on the carb to see what was going on. I cleaned the carb body with carb gumout, had to stop there b/c i'm not sure of the location of the additional cleaning points.
The next day while driving, I noticed that she was sluggish in all gears. Then it started with a light, deep clanging. Not very loud. But deep, like chimes, or straight pipes. I'm not 100% certain about the sound coming from the pipes, but I'm not dragging anything. I'm equipped with a TH350 and an Edelbrock 1406 on top of a Performer RPM Manifold. Does this sound like the carb? If so, since I know almost zilch about something like an Edelbrock, where is a good source for doing it myself? Or do I just take it to a pro and watch/learn from him?
