Woohoo!

Got the stepper running tonight

However, soon after startup she started knocking a bit... It isn't a loud, harsh knock like my 305 in the 89 just before it blew up, but its definitely knocking.

I'm gonna change the oil tommorow, and check all the lifters and stuff to see if it goes away

Took it for a quick spin around the sub-division, and I must say, it feels pretty good to drive a real truck again. Just turns way too freakishly sharp -- Going from an extended cab longbox to a shortbox is a pretty crazy contrast, lol Bit squirrely in the rear end with the flatbed on the truck too... I'm thinkin she'll be getting a real bed pretty quick. Just buy a junk shortbed, and store the step bed till spring.
