? about rear end brake lines

I've just swapped out the old 6 lug coil rear in my 67 1/2 ton for a 5 lug coil rear. On the old rear the two brake lines came from the backing plates and met at a brass block which passed through a tab on top of the axle tube. The new rear end has a horseshoe shaped tab welded to the front of the axle tube. My old brake lines don't seem like they will work. Does anybody know what year this might be? Do the brake lines still meet at a brass block? How does it attach to the horseshoe shaped tab? thanks, bighead
