last weekend's project
Here's the trans. mount I built this weekend.It was necessary cuz I built my air tanks to work with the T350.I then changed my mind and went with a new T400 which is longer and ended up with a clearance prob.The tanks wouldn't allow the stock Xmember to move back enough to bolt up.
I built this as a 3 piece unit so that if I ever need to remove the trans. I only need to remove the 4 bolts from the center section and the trans will drop straight down without having to fight with the entire Xmember.It's unfortunate that it had to be angled back like it is but space is becoming an issue.It seems plenty strong enough though and passed the "jump test" with flying colors ![]() Any comments/critizisms are welcome. P.S. if there's a moral here it's "make a plan and stick to it no matter what!"
