just did a 3" drop/disc brake on my 67
I used 71-72 drop spindles and rotors. I had the rotors drilled to a 5x4.75 pattern. I had to change both upper and lower ball joints to the 71-72 models. The trickiest part was making the 72 outer tie rod ends work. The 72 outer tie rod end is right hand thread(the 67 is left hand). The 72 is also a bigger diameter. What I did is to use the inner tie rod end off of the 67(add a 90 degree zirk fiiting) and the outter off the 72. I bought a 72 tie rod coupling and cut it in half. I cut the 67 coupler in half. The 67 will slide inside the 72 coupling and welded it together. Make sure and measure the length of the original tie rod first.
I am/was suspension ignorant.(stock) so if I can do it....
