Center Jump Seat question
I have a '00 Silverado that came with buckets and a center console. I don't like it. My two dogs like to ride up front and the seat is a little crammed with both of them (they are both "smaller" dogs). I've been eyeing center jump seats on ebay and I am wondering if this would be a direct replacement? It looks like my current console goes up under the dash, would I need some kind of filler piece to fill this in? I didn't see many "jump seat" trucks when I was looking for a new truck last year and can't remember what the dash was supposed to look like.
I just noticed I would lose my rear heating system through the console (there are still 2 ducts on the floor under the buckets,) would this need to be plugged off at the dash? Now I'm starting to wonder if there is any carpet under the center console.... maybe this isn't doable ![]()
