eaton advice

I was just hoping to get some advice, a fellow board member has offered to sell me his eaton no-spin 3rd. I just wanted some input regarding the setup, is it the same/better/worse than the 14bolt locker swap? Is this a locker setup or a posi setup? Is it something that will have worn, would I be better off trying to hunt down a new detroit locker, or rebuilding this setup....or just put it in and run as is? (have heard pro's and cons regarding the eaton axle shafts vs. 14 bolt axle shafts).

any advice would be appreciated......I would imagine the eaton swap would be quicker, but right now I am still just collecting parts as I have almost no time on my hands for anything anyway.
