17" tire size?

Okay, I have searched and searched.

I am going to lower my truck. 5" in the rear, and 3" to 5" in the front, probably go 4" in the front.

I am going to run 17" x 8" wheels all around.

What size tires can I run?

I was thinking 255/50 all around, but they seem hard to find.

What about 235/55 on the front and 275/60 rear, for that old school look?

Truck is a 1986 1/2 ton short bed fleetside.
