I took my truck into shop to have posi installed and he said that he could barely get my driveshaft off. I have lowered the truck 4/6 and I am fixing to pull it to get new carrier bearing and u joints, But I was wondering what everyone else done with this. Should I have it cut or is there a quick fix on this? I have a 1971 LWB 2 piece driveshaft. Was originally a 307/ 3speed but now is a 350/350. If I have to cut how much should I take off?
